Rat Paws This recipe is called Winter Flapjack Rat Paws

You will need 140g/ 5 oz butter
140g 5 oz Demerara sugar
5 tablespoons golden syrup
250g/ 9 oz oats
30g / 1oz finely chopped stem ginger (or more to taste)
What to do 1. Melt the butter, the sugar and syrup in a saucepan
2. Add the oats and mix well with the butter, sugar and syrup
3. Add the stem ginger and mix well.
4. Put the mix in to a 6 or 8 inch tin and smooth it out to an even thickness.
5. Bake in a medium oven for 15-20 minutes
6. When removed from the oven, cut into slices and leave to cool on a wire tray.
